Ana Marie Shryock ATALISSA, Iowa - Ana Marie Shryock, 58, died Monday, August 31, 2009, at her home in Atalissa. Graveside Service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2009, at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Reverend Harold Schutte will officiate. Casket bearers will be James F. Shryock, Isidro Rocha, Jon Lawrence, Lorenzo Rocha Jr., Tom Bowie, Juan Rocha and Lance Wieskamp. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, West Liberty. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Ana was born on August 17, 1951, in Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Lorenzo and Gregoria Esparza Rocha. She married James E. Shryock on May 28, 1969, Silvis, Illinois. They had been married 41 years. She was employed at Louis Rich for 30 years. In 1994, she became a restaurant owner of Buelitos Supper Club. She enjoyed all aspects of the restaurant business, taking pride in her dishes and getting to know her customers. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Jim Shryock of Atalissa; her children, Patty Lawrence and husband, Jon, Jimmy Shryock and Wendy Shryock and Tom Bowie; six grandchildren, Brandi Wieskamp, Becca Holmes, Audrie Gengenbacher, Derek Sparks, Phoebe Lawrence and Austin Lawrence; her mother, Gregoria Rocha; three brothers, Isidro Rocha, Lorenzo Rocha Jr. and Juan Rocha; three sisters, Evangalina Garcia, Maribel Montelongo and Isabel Rocha-Hall; s well as spouses of siblings and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lorenzo Rocha; a brother, Angel Rocha; a sister, Marcela Ramos; paternal grandparents, Juan and Gavina Rocha and maternal grandparents, Soccoro and Rosalio Esparza Benavidez.
