Funeral Time: May 29th, 2019 Betty Jo Roberts Cross Shepherd Ayers, 78, widow of Edward Lee Ayers, died Monday, May 20, 2019. Born in Pikeville, she was a daughter of the late Clifton and Ida Mae Roberts. She was a graduate of Bryan Station High School and she was a sales person for Avon. Survivors are two sons, Leland Craig Cross (Melissa), Lexington, and Warren Scott Cross (Jamie), Lawrenceburg, KY; two daughters, Cynthia Lynn Marcus (Charlie Taylor), Winchester, KY, and Angela Jo Scarborough (David), Rockcastle, KY; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James David Shepherd (Rita) Lexington. Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday.
