Carol Stevens FORSYTH, Missouri -- Carol Stevens, 89, passed away on January 22, 2014, at the Forsyth Nursing Home and Rehab in Forsyth, Missouri. Funeral Service was held on January 27, 2014, in Rockaway Beach, Missouri. Burial took place in Branson, Missouri. Carol was born on December 11, 1924, near Cairo, Iowa, in Louisa County, the daughter or Royce and Ruby Main Partington. She graduated from Wapello High School in 1942. After marriage she lived in Des Moines and Perry, Iowa, and then moved to Rockaway Beach, Missouri. She is survived by a daughter, Joette Watson and husband, Richard, of Springfield, Missouri; a son, Elton Bishop of Rockaway Beach, Missouri; several grandchildren; and sisters, Wilma Fosholt of Muscatine, Iowa, and Merna Francis of Galesburg, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Stevens; her parents; two half-brothers; three brothers; and three sisters.
