Charlotte Brown MUSCATINE, Iowa - Charlotte O. Brown, 81, Muscatine, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Lutheran Homes. Services are 1 p.m. Monday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Nancy Renfro and John Brown will officiate. Pallbearers are Paul Brown, Matthew Brown, Joel Brown, Ben Brown, Andy Brown, Mark Brown and Greg Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Catherine Brown, Hannah Brown-Reid, Bethany Brown and Julia Brown. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the Wittich-Lewis Community Room after the burial. Visitation is 4-7:30 p.m Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church of the donor's choice or Iowa City Hospice. Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Grandview, the daughter of Charles and Winifred Delap Robison. She married H. Harris Brown Sept. 3, 1942, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death Dec. 11, 1945. She later married Edward J. Brown Nov. 4, 1956, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death Sept. 9, 1989. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a life-long homemaker and also enjoyed cooking and porcelain doll painting. She was a member of the Peace United Methodist Church in rural Wilton, the Grace Noll Crowell Book Club and Moscow Township Farm Bureau Women. Survivors include three sons, David H. Brown and James R. Brown and wife Connie, all of Wilton, and John H. Brown and wife Kim of Cambridge; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Roberta Jewell and husband Richard of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and a brother, William Robison.
