Clay Wornall "Sis" Buckner Crain, 89, of Lexington, KY, died April 5, 2006 at Hamburg Healthcare Center. She was the widow of Elden E. Hutchins and Jack M. Crain. A native of Bourbon County, KY, she was born April 18, 1916 to the late Thomas Moore and Martha Davenport Clay Buckner. Her brother, Brooks Clay Buckner, preceded her in death. A Bourbon County landowner, she was a graduate of Bourbon County High School when it was located in Millersburg, KY. She was a member of the Bourbon County Garden Club, First Presbyterian Church, Paris, Ikebana International Chapter 160, Naples, FL, Historic Paris-Bourbon County/Hopewell Museum, Jemima Johnson Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Kentucky Historical Society, Nicholas County Historical Society, as a rider in Fox Hunts, she was a member of the Kentucky State Fox Hunters Association, Naples Botanical Garden, Naples, FL, The Huguenot Society Founders of Manakin in The Colony of Virginia and a former member of the Lexington Country Club. She is survived by her nephew, Winstead Thomas Buckner (Virginia Klaren) of Lexington. No visitation is planned. Inurnment services will be conducted at the Paris Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2006 by the Rev. David Chumney. Appreciation and thanks are expressed to the caretakers of Home Instead Senior Care especially Bobbie Samples, Terri Sandifer and Carol Siletta.
