David Marshall Edmondson GRANDVIEW, Iowa #45;- David Marshall Edmondson, 76, of Grandview, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001 at Muscatine General Hospital, of a sudden illness. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa. The Rev. Scott Nesbitt will officiate. Burial will be at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth, with military honors. Visitation begins after noon Friday at the funeral home, with family visitation from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday evening. Contributions can be made to Ainsworth Community Church. Mr. Edmondson was born in Ainsworth, Sept. 17, 1925, to Marshall and Omi (Funston) Edmondson. He graduated from Ainsworth High School. He lived in Knoxville 14 years and Grandview 40 years. He was a member of Ainsworth Community Church. He served in the Army Air Force where he became disabled. He was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by a sister, Margaret Schantz, Grandview and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
