Brown, 76, West Liberty, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at his home. The Rev. Betsey Neipert will officiate the services. Family burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Brown was born Sept. 12, 1929, in Louisville, Ky., the son of Iva Fae Hammon. He married Patricia Lenz on June 20, 1964, in Loman, Mo. He had been employed by McCrabb Manufacturing, West Liberty, as well as Johnson County Ready Mix, Iowa City Ready Mix and Croell Ready Mix. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion as well as the Liar's Club at the Muscatine Mall. Survivors include five sons, Randy Brown and wife Carlene of Manderson, Wyo., Rick Brown and fiance Melissa Brozio of Colona, Ill., Rory Brown and Robby Brown and wife Karina, all of Tucson, Ariz., and Steve Paulsen and wife Nicki of Iowa City; a daughter, Shelly Hoppe and husband Sieg of Muscatine; 20 grandchildren; five sisters, Marjorie, Maude, Winifred, Elsie and Loretta; and a brother, Ronnie. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Rodney.
