E. Ruth Kleindolph MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- E. Ruth Kleindolph, 63, Muscatine, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at her home. Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, 2907 Mulberry Ave. The Rev. Richard Knox will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by Jim and Jody Martin and Joleene Hahn. Pallbearers are Larry Campbell, Bill Hingst, Bob Kleindolph, Rodney Johnson, Joe Grubaugh and Mark Kleindolph. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Kleindolph was born Feb. 11, 1940, in Muscatine, the daughter of William E. and Hazel I. Brown Starkweather. She married Elmer E. Haller Feb. 20, 1959, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death Jan. 11, 1968. She later married Richard D. Kleindolph March 4, 1972, at the Little Brown Church. He preceded her in death July 13, 1999. She was a life resident of Muscatine. She and her late husband, Richard, operated the Iowa Fats Super Sport from 1985-1998. She was a member of the Y-ets Club; was active in the Ladies of the Moose; and a member of the Church of the Nazarene and its ladies' groups. She had a special affection for and enjoyed her dog, Von Kirk. She was a retailer of clothing and collectibles. Survivors include two sons, David W. Haller and wife Mary and Paul E. Haller and wife Sally, all of Muscatine; three stepsons, Chris Haller and wife Melanie of Moline, Ill., Daniel Haller and Kurt Kleindolph; five grandchildren, Carrie S. Reid, Ashley A. Haller, Kelly M. Haller, Cory E. Haller and Kevin P. Haller; and three great-grandchildren, Destiny Reid, Hunter W. Haller and Diana M. Haller; a stepgranddaughter, Jennifer Haller; three sisters, Edith H. Grubaugh and husband James, D. June Reeves and husband Darrell and Nancee C. Miller, all of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; and three brothers, Kenneth, Harold and Joe.
