Elmyra Begley Obituary

Funeral Time: March 5th, 2020 Elmyra Brandon Begley, 90, died January 17th. Born in Paris, TN, she moved to Lexington at an early age. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, and survived by their loving three children, Cynthia Deitz, Philip (Forrest), and Melissa (Dayle) Welch, all of Lexington. Elmyra had four grandchildren, Cole Begley, Michael Welch, Dayle E. Welch and Katie Begley Blain; and seven great-grandchildren. A retired medical transcriptionist, Elmyra was smart, wise and open minded. She loved books, music and dance. But most of all, her family was everything to her. She instilled in them life's most important values by living her life with kindness, generosity, respect for all, hard work and honesty. All who met Elmyra adored her easy smile, sense of humor and positive outlook even in the face of adversity. She will be sorely missed. No visitation.
