Ernest "Ernie" Sanford Parker Obituary
Funeral Time: June 13th, 2022
Ernest "Ernie" Sanford Parker, 76, husband of the late Brenda Gray Parker, died on June 5, 2022. Born and raised in Lexington, he attended Bryan Station High School, served in the US Marine Corps, and worked at IBM until his retirement. He was active in the Bryan Station Class Reunion Committee, planning get-togethers with the Class of 1964, and further enjoyed gathering with family and friends. He is survived by his son, Michael Parker (Veronica); his granddaughters Rachel Parker and Amy Parker; his brother David Parker (Kimberly); several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his longtime companion, Linda Moore Railsback. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Della Parker. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12 from 5pm-8pm at Kerr Brothers-Main Street. Services will be held Monday, June 13 at 10 am at Kerr Brothers - Main Street. Burial at Lexington Cemetery will follow. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lexington Humane Society and the American Diabetes Association.
