ARNOLD, Grace E., 82, widow of Gary Ray Arnold, died Feb. 10, 2019 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. Born Jan. 1, 1937 in Scott County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lewellen and Mary Alice Roberts Darnell. Mrs. Arnold retired from the U.S. Department of Defense. She is survived by four of six children: daughters, Linda Wallace, Joyce Ann (John C.) Preston, and sons, Danny (Helen) Wallace and Wellman (Lanita) Wallace, Jr.; two sisters, Geneva Powell and Betty Murray; brother, Roy Darnell; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Susan Wallace and Alice Fay Durrum; and eleven brothers and sisters. She devoted her life to her family, and always found the good in everyone, a true testament of "amazing grace" our happy camper Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Fri. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Minister Doug Piatt. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30 am Fri. at the funeral home until the service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice.
