Gregory Benedict TAMPA, Fla. #45;- Gregory Benedict, 31, Tampa, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, in Tampa. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, in Fort Myers Beach, Fla. Mr. Benedict was born Oct. 11, 1972, in Muscatine, the son of Vonnie Blakely and Eldon Benedict. He graduated from Collier County School, Fort Myers. For the past 12 years, he had acted in regional and dinner theatres in Austin, Texas, Tampa and Fort Myers. Survivors include his mother, Vonnie Blakely of Fort Myers Beach; his father, Eldon Benedict of Muscatine; two sisters, Nancy Blakley and husband Peter and Rachel Cron and husband Jim, both of Fort Myers; and a brother, Kent Benedict of Iowa City.
