Helen Marks MUSCATINE, Iowa - Helen L. Marks, 93, of Muscatine died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Lutheran Homes. Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Hal Green will officiate. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Omaha, Neb. Visitation is 12:30 p.m. until service time Thursday. Memorials have been established in her memory. Ms. Marks was born Jan. 9, 1908, in Omaha, the daughter of Eben and Leta Allen Marks. She never married. She was a graduate of Omaha University and was employed at the Batterson Department Store from 1957 to 1974. Survivors include a nephew, Richard Andersen and his wife, Sondra, of Muscatine; one niece-in-law, Janice Andersen, of Batavia, Ill.; two great-nephews, Barry Andersen of Roscoe, Ill. and Randall Anderson; and two great-nieces Brenda Stineman of Homer, Ill. and Jennifer Andersen. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
