JEANETTE ZYBARTH CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Jeanette Esther Zybarth, 90, formerly of Muscatine, died Friday, October 14, 2005, at Northbrook Manor in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2005, at St. Mathias Church, 215 W Eighth Street, Muscatine. The Reverend John P. Gallagher of the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish will officiate the service. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Muscatine. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2005, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser Street. Memorials may be made to the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish. Jeanette was born on August 28, 1915, in Muscatine, the daughter of Edwin and Mabel Steinfurt Bunn. She married Ralph "Buzz' Zybarth on May 31, 1941, in Muscatine at the St. Mathias Church. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a member of the St. Mathias Church and the Women of the Moose. She was a great Bridge player and enjoyed crocheting. Survivors include one son, Terry J. Zybarth and wife, Terry, of Cedar Rapids; one daughter Toni L. Messinger and husband, Richard, of Alton, Illinois; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Charlotte.
