M. Olive Van Delinder LETTS, Iowa #45;- Mary Olive Van Delinder, 95, of Letts died on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at the Wapello Nursing and Care Center in Wapello. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Letts United Methodist Church in Letts. Burial will be at the Letts Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. A memorial has been established at the funeral home or memorials may be made to the Letts United Methodist Church. Mrs. Van Delinder was born on April 15, 1906, in Letts, the daughter of Dr. George and Nora Henderson Armentrout. She married Harry Van Delinder on Aug. 11, 1925, in Sigourney. He preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 1983. She worked at the Letts School in the hot lunch program for 18 years. She was a homemaker and life-long resident of Letts. She as a member of the Letts United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Martin and her husband, Keith, of Fruitland and Marjorie Hildebrand and her husband, John, of Fullerton, Calif.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Marilyn Hottle; an infant daughter; and two brothers, Gerald and Raymond Armentrout.
