WELLMAN, Iowa - Robert L. Libenguth, 74, Wellman, formerly of Riverside, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, after an extended illness. The Rev. Rich Adam will officiate the services. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. After the burial, a time of food and fellowship will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church Parish Center. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mr. Libenguth was born May 15, 1931, in Riverside, the son of Frank H. and Clara M. Kucera Libenguth. He was a 1949 graduate of St. Mary's High School, Riverside. He was a parts manager for I.H. Implement and then for Joe Pailliotet Implement. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. When he was younger, he coached many sports for children and bowled. He enjoyed woodworking, especially following his retirement. He made a complete farm set, which included seven buildings, complete with fencing and animals, to be raffled at the St. Mary's Catholic Church Labor Day Festival every year. Survivors include a sister, Lorraine A. Lintz and husband Mark of Davenport and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Arthur and Louis.
