Iowa - Samantha Heather Ricketts, 29, Muscatine, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, in Muscatine. The Rev. Sharon Phillips will officiate. Casket bearers are Mark Plowman, Kody Plowman, Bill Hepker, Randy Russell, Dustin Krueger and Anthony Estrada. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. She was born Aug. 26, 1976, in Muscatine, the daughter of David and Angie Hepker Newton. She married Ron Ricketts on April 29, 1997, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death April 18, 2001. Survivors include two sons, Dacoda Ricketts and Kerry Jr. Smith; three daughters, Kayln Fonner, Jade Ricketts and Erika Ricketts; her mother, Angie Newton of Grandview; her father, David Newton of Idaho; and a sister, Melissa Plowman and husband Mark of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her husband; and her grandparents, Lylse Hepker on Dec. 27, 1996, and Dottie Hepker on March 10, 1999.
