Shirley Rice Memorial services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello. WAPELLO, Iowa #45;- Shirley Ann Rice, 62, Wapello, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at her home. Her body will be cremated. Mrs. Rice was born May 27, 1943, in Cave-In-Rock, Ill., the daughter of David and Laura Scott Winters. She married Floyd Rice on Dec. 20, 1962, in Illinois. She worked at Lamont Limited, Burlington. She enjoyed sewing and going on the boat. Survivors include her mother, Laura Winters of Wapello; her husband; two daughters, Shelly Row of Burlington and Lisa Garnsey of Morning Sun; a son, Jeff Rice of Menomonie, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and four sisters, Carol Cochran, Kay Johnson, Chris Morris and Marsha Purdy, all of Wapello. She was preceded in death by her father.
