Thomas Earl Richardson
IOWA CITY, Iowa --Thomas Earl Richardson, formerly of Letts, died May 24, 2011, in Iowa City after a brief illness.
Visitation was held in Northwood, Iowa, and burial was at the Silver Lake Lutheran Cemetery, next to his wife, Wilma. The Rev. Randy Baldwin officiated. Military honors were conducted by Our Buddies VFW Memorial Post No. 6779.
Thomas was born on March 30, 1943, in Muscatine, the son of Harry John and Jeannie Leola Phillips Richardson. He married Wilma Ann Mollenhauer on September 3, 1988, in Muscatine.
He served in the military and was a fence builder by trade.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy; sons, Paul and David, Minnesota, and Steve, Northwood; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert and Carol Richardson of Grandview; a sister, Beth and Joe Foster of Winfield; many nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Anita.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and sisters, Patsy Fuson and Barbara Richardson who died in infancy.
