Tim Armentrout DMD Obituary

Funeral Time: January 29th, 2019 ARMENTROUT, Tim D.M.D., 65, husband of Paula Armentrout, passed away suddenly after a brief illness. Born Feb. 11, 1953 in Parsons, WV, he was the son of the late Hansel and Paige DiBacco Armentrout. Dr. Armentrout graduated from the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry in 1982. He was an Associate Professor of Dentistry at UK from 1984-2007, where he mentored many young dental students. He entered into private practice in 2007. Dr. Armentrout was a devout Catholic who attended Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. His faith and family were the two most important things in his life. He was an extremely kind, generous man with such a big personality, that he was loved by everyone who knew him. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and good bourbon. Survivors other than his wife include a stepdaughter, Chrissy Anderson (Mike Casserly); two grandchildren, Chase and Cameron Casserly; a special cousin, Mary B. Scott; and many close cousins and relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lee Armentrout; and a brother, Raymond Lee Armentrout. Funeral services will be held 10 am Tues., Jan. 29, at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 605 Hill N Dale Dr., Lexington, KY 40503. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Mon., Jan. 28 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Funeral services will be held 10 am Tues., Jan. 29, at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 605 Hill N Dale Dr., Lexington, KY 40503. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Mon., Jan. 28 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd.
