VIRGINIA ESTABROOK MUSCATINE, Iowa - Virginia Nadine Estabrook, 82, of Muscatine, died on Monday, November 26, 2012, at her home. Celebration of Life Gathering will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at The Rendezvous, 3127 Lucas Street. Memorials may be left to the family in care of Kim Estabrook. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Virginia was born on January 12, 1930, in Muscatine, the daughter of Buel J. 'Bucky' and Veda Kulp Lord. She married Murry Alfred Estabrook on March 15, 1947, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2002. She worked at McKee Button Company and was also owner/operator of Estabrook Bait and Tackle. She loved photography, writing, scenic drives, the outdoors and going mushroom hunting. Those left to honor her memory include three sons, Murry W. Estabrook and wife, Debra, of Clairmore, Oklahoma, John Estabrook and wife, Bonnie, of Fruitland, and Devin Estabrook and wife, Tonya, of Letts; two daughters, Cindy Carver and husband, Phillip, of Muscatine, and Kim 'KC' Estabrook of Muscatine; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Donna Grace Lewis of Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Lee Estabrook; one stillborn daughter, Christina; and one brother, Elwood 'Bud' Lord.
